Data we collect

We only collect the data needed to process your orders and requests: name, phone number, email address, delivery address (country, city, district, full address), order history, and the content of your sourcing or quote requests.

When you pay online through Flutterwave, payment details (card, mobile money, bank transfer) are entered and processed directly in Flutterwave's secure environment. ChinAfric never sees, receives or stores your card numbers, PIN codes or banking credentials.

We only keep the transaction reference, amount, currency, payment status and any last four digits returned by Flutterwave, for accounting and after-sales purposes.

Legal basis and purposes

Your data is processed to perform the sales contract (prepare, ship and track your order), to meet our legal obligations (accounting, tax, fraud and money-laundering prevention), and with your consent for optional marketing messages.

We never sell or rent your personal data, and we make no fully automated decisions producing legal effects on you.

Sharing with third parties

Your delivery details may be shared with our carriers and suppliers only to the extent needed to ship your order.

Payment data is handled by Flutterwave, a licensed, PCI-DSS certified payment provider acting as an independent controller for the transaction. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where the law requires it.

Some data may be hosted outside your country of residence (hosting infrastructure and payment providers), under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Retention

Order and invoicing data is kept for the legal accounting retention period (usually 10 years). Quote requests that do not convert are deleted after 24 months. Customer account data is deleted on request, subject to legal retention duties.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, portability, restriction or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent, at any time by writing to contact@chinafric.com. We respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Minors

The site is intended for adults or users with the authorisation of a legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
