Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancelling an order

You may cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not shipped, from your customer area or by email. If the order was already paid online, a full refund is initiated within 48 business hours.

Once shipped, an order can no longer be cancelled and the request is handled as a return.

Right of return

Any defective, damaged, incomplete or misdescribed product must be reported within 7 days of receipt, with photos. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

Customised products, unsealed hygiene items and large bespoke sourcing orders cannot be returned unless genuinely defective.

Return costs

Where the return results from our error (wrong, defective or damaged item), ChinAfric covers return shipping and also refunds the original delivery fee.

Where the return is simply a change of mind, return shipping is at the customer's expense and the original delivery fee is not refunded.

Refund timing and method

After the return is received and checked (within 3 business days), the refund is initiated within 5 business days, to the original payment method: card, mobile money or bank transfer via Flutterwave.

Your bank or mobile money operator may take a further 5 to 14 business days to credit the funds. Partial refunds apply when only part of the order is affected.

For cash-on-delivery orders, refunds are made by mobile money or bank transfer to the account you provide.

Undelivered orders

If your parcel has not arrived within 15 business days after the latest announced date, you may request either reshipment or a full refund including delivery fees.

How to request a refund

Email contact@chinafric.com with your order number, the product concerned, the reason and photos if relevant. We acknowledge receipt within 48 business hours.
